Quality Sites for
Backlinking
Here I’ve put together a small list of websites where you can get high quality
backlinks put up.
These sites will not only drive traffic, but also help your build a well-rounded
business that is brand-able!
Just make sure that you use each of them correctly. Don’t put up crappy videos on
YouTube, or spammy articles that don’t make sense on DocStoc. Instead, put up
quality content and your business will boom.

Document Sharing Sites
Here are a few of the best doc sharing sites. Some only accept PDFs, others accept
PowerPoint presentations. But all of them can drive LOTS of traffic and help your
rankings if used correctly.
 DocStoc.com
 4Shared.com
 Scribd.com
 SlideShare.net
 DivShare.com
 Issuu.com
 PDFCast.org
 Box.net
 Calameo.net
 Edocr.com
 ESnips.com
 Gazhoo.com
 MyPlick.com
 SlideBoom.com
 SlideServe.com
 Yudu.com
To find more, you can always Google something like “document sharing sites
2012” to get a more recent list.
Video Sharing Sites
Video is HUGE HUGE HUGE. People love watching videos, and written content is
usually “skimmed” instead of read.
Granted- you don’t have to do video. But technically you don’t have to do
anything I’m recommending.
But trust me- good videos get good results.
So here’s a list of sites to use:
 YouTube.com
 MetaCafe.com
 Break.com
 Google Video (google.com/videohp)
 DailyMotion.com
 Yahoo! Video (screen.yahoo.com)
 Revver.com
 Vimeo.com
 vidiLife.com
 Stickam.com
 Veoh.com
 Vevo.com
 LiveLink.com
 VideoBash.com
Just make sure that when you’re making these videos, they aren’t too
commercial-y. For one thing, many sites will take down a commercial video very
fast.
Plus, you don’t get readers from YouTube to visit your site by trying to sell them
something. Instead, just give quality information and tell them that they can learn
more on your site.
There are lots more sites too, you just have to search for em. Something like
“video sharing sites 2012” will pull up a few lists.
If you’re submitting videos to a lot of these sites, I highly recommend using a tool
like Traffic Geyser or a service from a place like Fiverr.com.
Press Release Sites
There’s a reason why tons of SEO courses right now are recommending press
releases. They’re good backlinks, they drive traffic, and they help your website
look like more of a real business.
Note that the paid options work the best, but free options can be powerful too.
Paid PR Sites
 WebWire.com
 PRWeb.com
Free PR Sites
 PRLog.org
 24-7PressRelease.com
 1888PressRelease.com
 ClickPress.com
 EcommWire.com
 Express-Press-Release.com
 Free-Press-Release.com
 Free-Press-Release-Center.info
 I-Newswire.com
 NewswireToday.com
 PR.com
 PR9.net
 PR-Inside.com
 PRBuzz.com
 PRCompass.com
 PressAbout.com
And there are TONS more.
Similar to the video distribution, I recommend using a piece of software or a
service for the distribution. Fiverr has a lot of great gigs for this, or you can try
something like PressBot.
Social Networking Sites
Even though these links used to be near-worthless, they’re becoming more and
more powerful.
There are several reasons for that, but one of the big ones is that they’re VERY
easy to share. So for example if you have a Facebook fan page, it’s easy for people
on Facebook to share anything you post there with their friends on Facebook.
This is how things go viral- which is **usually** good for a company.
So what social networking sites should you check out? Here are a few:
 Facebook.com
 Google Plus (plus.google.com)
 Twitter.com
 Reddit.com
 Stumbleupon.com
 Digg.com
 Del.icio.us
 LinkedIn.com
 MySpace.com
 LiveJournal.com
 Tagged.com
 Orkut.com
 Metacafe.com
 myLife.com
 Badoo.com
 Friendster.com
There are quite a bit more, but you get the idea. To find more, search for
something like “social networking sites 2012”.
Guest Blog Posts/Article Syndication
These are fairly similar, so I lumped them together for simplicity sakes.
The idea behind guest blog posting is 3 steps:
1) You build a relationship with the blogger
2) You draft (or outsource) a VERY high quality article
3) You email it to them asking if you can do a guest blog post with that
article.
The keys are to have a good relationship, write a quality article, and structure the
article like they do their own articles/posts. Note that with a guest blog post, you
usually can NOT post it anywhere else on the web!
Article syndication is basically the same, except you post the article on your own
site and then show it to them. If they like it, they can syndicate it on to their own
blog.
So that said, here are the main resources I recommend:
 MyBlogGuest.com
 GuestBlogIt.com
 DirectoryofEzines.com
You can also just find blogs in your niche (through Google/Bing/whatever), search
around a bit to see if they have guest blog posts, and then start the process from
there.
I hope these help!
